Here at Lazer Star we've realized that September is just the beginning of autumn, and we want to see your adventures from the whole season. Arguably the most beautiful and prime time of year for power sports, colder temps combined with moist dirt reminds us why. This is why we're extending the deadline of our Power of Light Video Contest to December 31st, 2012. We've also extended the required length from 1 to 5 minutes. We don't need fancy effects or high definition footage, just some clips of you or your buddies ripping with Lazer Star lights. Break out smart phone or borrow your friend's GoPro. 1. Originality: We like to see the roots of our customers and the local terrain they tackle. What makes you tick? We dont expect an autobiography, just some idea of who you are.
2. Creativity: Were leaving the door open here. No guidelines, no strict criteria. Just you, a camera, and your Lazer Star set ups.
3. Performance: Show us how our lights perform in action. We like to go fast, especially in the dark.

The Requirements Video entries must:

1. Have at least one shot and/or explanation (audio or text) of your Lazer Star Lights set up.
2. Be between 1-5 minutes in duration.
3. Be uploaded on Youtube and posted to theLazer Lights Facebookfor submission.
4. Must be submitted by December 31st,2012 by 12:00pm, Pacific standard time.

The Rules:

• All music, images, video footage and other content must be either originally produced by the person uploading the contest entry, or proper permissions must be authorized by the copyright owner. Proper permissions must include the right for the contest entry uploader to use the content in a commercial venture. Likewise, it is the responsibility of the contest entry uploader to ensure that all permissions are in place for use of actors' and/or models likenesses.

• You must be at least 14 years old (or the age of majority in your country, state or province of residence) to submit Content to the Site.

• To participate in this Lazer Star Lights contest, you must comply with the rules of this brief, and with the general contest rules, which can be found in the Contest Submission Agreement (link below).

The High Desert Racing Association put on a challenging 250-mile, Dusk to Dawn race through the Southern Nevada desert. The 5-lap, 50-mile loop course offered up an array of terrain from flat out fast to technical mountain canyons and was littered with deep pools of mud from the recent monsoons thathit the area from earlier on in the week. Lazer Star Lights sponsored driver, Matt Lovell, placed second in the race after a series of challenges throughout the night. He credits his Lazer Star Lights in helping him succeed, and says:

As an off road desert racer I race thousands of miles a year through brutal terrain, mud, rain, rocks silt etc and the a lot of our racing is at night. Lazer Star sponsored rider Adam Upah placed first in the 5th Annual Heartland Challenge ATV Pro AM 10hr Race. He says, "Here's a video of me navigating through the "Challenge" section of the course at night. You could either choose to go through this section, or take a longer route around. It was about 30 seconds or so faster as long as you didn't get hung up at all." Adam rides with our 10-watt Discovery LX LED Light Bar. Congratulations, Adam!

Lazer Star sponsored rider Bryan Buckhannon came in second in the 2012 Heartland Challenge 4x4 Ironman race. During the 10 hour race, Brian's quad became stuck in the mud. He had to pick up his 850-pound quad to get it out, and still worked to a podium finish!

Following his win, he spent 30 minutes icing his back after pulling muscles while lifting his quad. Congratulations, Bryan!!
